1. GENERAL PRINCIPLE

A shipment will be accepted only where its carriage, export, transit and import are lawful and the goods are suitably packed, documented and compatible with the selected transport service.

2. PROHIBITED GOODS

Examples include illegal narcotics; explosives; firearms, ammunition and weapons; radioactive materials; unlawful or counterfeit goods; stolen goods; dangerous goods not accepted under the applicable service; and other articles prohibited by law or carrier policy.

3. RESTRICTED GOODS

Certain batteries, liquids, chemicals, medicines, perishables, food, plants, animal products, biological materials, valuables, electronics and other special commodities may require prior approval, special packaging, permits or destination-specific documentation.

4. CASH & FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS

Cash, currency, bearer instruments, precious metals, gemstones and similar high-risk valuables may be prohibited or accepted only by prior written arrangement and subject to applicable service restrictions.

5. ACCURATE DECLARATION

The Shipper must provide an accurate description, quantity, weight, value, origin and required customs information. False description, undervaluation or concealment may result in refusal, delay, return, seizure or additional charges.

6. PACKAGING & MARKING

The Shipper is responsible for packaging that is suitable for ordinary handling and for clear sender/receiver identification. Dangerous or regulated goods must meet applicable transport and packaging requirements.

7. INSPECTION

Impresto Courier may open, inspect, scan, x-ray, weigh, measure or otherwise examine shipments where reasonably necessary for security, customs, safety or compliance.

8. REFUSAL / HOLD / RETURN

The Company may refuse, suspend, hold, reroute, return or otherwise handle a shipment where required by law, customs, security requirements or operational necessity.

9. DESTINATION RESTRICTIONS

An item permitted in the origin country may be restricted or prohibited in the destination or transit country. The Shipper is responsible for obtaining required permits and providing accurate documents.

10. COSTS & INDEMNITY

Where permitted by law, the Shipper may be responsible for duties, taxes, storage, return, disposal, penalties, investigation costs and other expenses arising from prohibited, restricted or incorrectly declared goods.

11. LIABILITY

Any claim concerning prohibited, restricted, undeclared or materially misdeclared goods is subject to applicable law and contractual limits. Where legally permitted, Impresto Courier's contractual maximum for such goods is USD 100.

12. ACCEPTANCE IS NOT A LEGAL GUARANTEE

Acceptance of a shipment does not mean that Impresto Courier has verified every destination-country requirement. Final carriage remains subject to applicable law, customs, transport rules and operational acceptance.
